Helminths from Manitoba Passerine birds : with a chapter on Helminths from Manitoba chickens

Abstract

Twenty species of helminths - nine trematodes, five cestodes, and six nematodes - are recorded from eighty-five birds examined. No new species are described. A number of new locality and host records are reported. A chapter on helminths from Manitoba chickens is included. Three species of nematodes and three of cestodes are reported from one hundred and thirty chickens examined.
