Fungal isolates were obtained from the aerial parts of wild rice. These were used for greenhouse and field inoculation trials in which seed yield, seed germinability and lesion indices were the parameters applied to assess pathogenicity. Selected isolates which showed pathogenic potential were tested for foliar or culm rot tendencies. Seed borne studies were conducted using seed from field inoculated plants.en_US
