dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the report is to detail and justify the sensor lens cleaning systems our team has designed for MacDon. The report begins by outlining the issue, client needs and the process for concept selection. Concept selection resulted in two concepts which are an air jet cleaning system and a water jet cleaning system. Physical testing was performed on aspects of the design and is described in the report. Following the testing report, the air and water jet cleaning systems are described in detail including performance expectations and estimated costs. The body of the report concludes with a summary of the report as well as recommendations for the client on moving forward with design prototypes. As per the client’s request, part and assembly drawings of the system are found in the Appendix. | en_US |
