Abstract
The intersection of climate change-induced factors and the city’s expansion has led to an increase in impermeable surfaces, exacerbating stormwater management challenges in Winnipeg. “Meet with the Water” presents a visionary pilot project aimed at mitigating stormwater issues on the surface parking lots of the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry campus. This initiative focuses on repurposing these spaces not only to address stormwater management challenges but also to create inviting areas for people, utilizing a green-blue infrastructure approach.
