This study considers some of the social and environmental factors common to juveniles in Greater Winnipeg who stole cars during the year 1958. The study was done at the suggestion of the Winnipeg Juvenile and Family Court. The Court has expressed concern about the juvenile car thief and believed that an examination of this aspect of juvenile delinquency might result in a better understanding of the juvenile who steals cars.en_US
