The application of narrative therapy with individual adults is the focus of this report. A thorough review of the literature of narrative therapy is provided. In addition, an explanation of the structure of the practicum, as well as the practicum environment is discussed. Included in this discussion are the methods of evaluation used, including the SCL-90-R by Derogatis (1994), some brief transcribed segments, and a qualitative interview. Next, a complete case analysis is provided, discussing the long term cases that were seen throughout the practicum experience. Finally, the report is completed with summarising the practicum experience, along with revisiting the learning objectives set out, followed by a brief conclusion. Overall, the qualitative and quantitative methods of evaluation point to the successful implementation of narrative therapy with the clients seen.en_US
