dc.description.abstract |
Reperfusion of ischemic hearts with warm blood cardioplegia enriched with L-aspartate (asp) and L-glutamate (glu) has been reported to alleviate post-ischemic metabolic and functional derrangements. Two studies were performed to investigate this possibility using phosphorus-31 ($\sp{31}$P) magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) in isolated pig hearts. |
