1. When I click to enlarge a photo, it takes a long time to download.
If you are accessing the Internet through the phone line, it may take a while to download the photo, depending on the size of the photo. Not all of the photos are large. Look for the words “fast download” to find photos that will download quickly on dial-up computers.
2. I would like to be able to zoom into the maps.
This function is not available on this version of the website. If you would like a larger version of the map sent to you by email, please contact Carissa and she can arrange that.
3. I am unable to open links that say PDF beside them.
This is because your computer needs free PDF software. This can be obtained from the following website: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
4. I wrote a message on the message board and an error message appeared saying “syntax error”.
This is because there is a quirky error with message boards in that the use of commas and apostrophes causes an error in the system. If you receive this message, you will need to rewrite you message without using commas. My apologies for any disruption this might have caused.
