Help
1.
Nothing happens when I click on a link.
-
This
could be because it is taking your computer a while to respond.
Try waiting a few more minutes.
-
Also,
when clicking on a "link", make sure you see a "hand"
pointing to that link. The"hand" means that there
is a link that will take you to another page. If you see an
"arrow" and click, the link won't work.
- A link is like a button that will take you to another webpage.
A link is often shown as a line underneath some text.
2.
When I open an external webpage (begins with http:// or www), none
of the links on that website work.
This is because only
the opening pages of the website were put onto this CDRom. The
purpose of those links is to give you an idea of information that
is available on the Internet. You will need to go to a computer
with Internet access to view the webpages further. Local libraries
often have computers with Internet access.
3.
The maps appear blurry, even when I zoom in.
Maps that appear blurry
are that way because the map was reduced in "size" so
that it could load more quickly onto your computer. Unfortunately,
when we reduced the size of the map, we lost some of it's clarity.
If there are maps that you would like to see in more specific
detail, make note of those maps and consider asking Tembec to
see the original maps at the meeting in May.

you!
