Abstract
Flea beetles are represented in Manitoba by several species. Of those which attack cruciferae, Plyllortreta pusilla Horn is the most abundant, widespread and destructive. The life history and behavior of the various species are known in general from studies in other localities, but no records of similar studies in Manitoba have been found. The economic importance of P. pusilla in Manitoba makes a biological study particularly important.
